Q. What makes the Courtclean Damp Mop System so special?

A. The patented Courtclean applicator coupled with our Custom Terry Cloth Towel and cleaning solution cleans the floor by lifting the dirt and oils off and onto the towel. This leaves the surface squeaky clean, safe and ready to play on. Most applicators push dirt and debris around.

Q. How does the Courtclean Damp Mop System compare to an auto scrubber?

A. The Courtclean is fractions of the cost of an auto scrubber. It uses less cleaning solution and since it dries instantly it can be used at anytime, such as at halftimes of games. Since it gently pulls over the floor with a terry cloth towel it avoids causing any damage to the surface that a brush or abrasive pad can cause. The Maple Flooring Manufacturers Association recommends that you NEVER clean your hardwood floor using scrubbing machinery or power scrubbers that use water.

Q. Why is a pull behind cleaning tool better than a push mop?

A. Pulling a Courtclean behind you allows you to pick up dirt and debris and leave the surface clean of footprints. It also uses less stress to your shoulders and back that hunching over a push mop can cause.

Q. What kind of floors will the Courtclean Damp Mop System work on?

A. The Courtclean works on all flat smooth surfaces such as hardwood, synthetic, rubber mats and cover tarps.

Q. How long does it take to use a Courtclean Damp Mop System?

A. Once the damp towel is attached to the Courtclean it generally takes 5 minutes to clean a regulation Basketball or Volleyball court.

Q. What type of cleaner should I use with my Courtclean?

A. Any neutral base floor cleaner is recommended for sport and hardwood floors. We recommend Hillyard’s Super Shine All. Hillyard’s Re-Juv-Nal is a hospital grade cleaner and disinfectant that is perfect for wrestling mats and cover tarps. It helps prevent the spread of disease and bacteria, such as MRSA.

Q. Is there anything else I should order or use with my Courtclean?

A. Generally when ordering a Courtclean, most customers take a Start-Up Kit. This comes with 4 additional towels, a gallon of Hillyard cleaning solution and a bucket to mix it in. You might want to consider one of our Value Packages for additional discounts on the products you will need.

Q. How often do I need to replace towels?

A. You can launder our custom Courtclean Terry Cloth towels, but it is a good idea to have extra clean towels around. Using 4 or more towels on a regular rotation, with regular daily use, you should look to replace towels every 12-16 months.

Q. What is a Keyclean?

A. The Keyclean is our Microfiber Pad push mop and is available in 2 sizes, a 36-inch model and a 24-inch model. These are perfect for spot clean up during basketball games, wrestling matches, or for any surface spills. The Keyclean is also fantastic for residential use on hardwood, tile, and linoleum surfaces.

Q. What is a Keyclean Pro?

A. Keyclean Pro is our Premium Microfiber Pad push mop designed for University and Professional level use. It is available as a Standard model or our Custom model which can be personalized for your specific team or institution. The large 24" x 18" base is ideal for spot clean up during basketball games, wrestling matches, or for any surface spills.
